Brenda Johanna Perez Castro

Brenda Perez-Castro is a sociologist and urbanist from Bogota, Colombia. She currently serves as Global Director of Urban Programming at Habitat for Humanity International, a position from which she leads the development of strategies, standards, guidelines, and tools to support the design and implementation of housing programs and projects for marginalized urban communities across the globe.
With 20 years of experience in Asia and Latin America, predominantly with grassroots organizations, INGOs, academic institutions and international cooperation agencies, Brenda has specialized in supporting community-led housing processes and advocating for participatory urban policies and planning.
