Elizabeth Petheo
Elizabeth Petheo is a Senior Principal at Miyamoto International, a global engineering and risk reduction firm. For nearly two decades in management and leadership positions in the development and disaster resiliency fields across more than 16 countries with the World Bank, international organizations and the private sector, she is a leading voice on the engagement of private sector in the development and assistance space. She holds advanced degrees with distinction. She has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management (Margaret L. A. MacVicar ’65, ScD ’67 MIT Award Recipient), an MA from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University (Florence G. Heller Alumni Award Recipient), and a BA from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota (Humanitarian Alumni Award).
