Emin Huseynov

Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Khojavand Districts, Aide to the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Was appointed as a Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region in 2021.
Before this role, he served as a Deputy Minister of Finance and a vice-rector of Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA University) upon previously gaining extensive experience as an economist in key institutions such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Member of Economic Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supervisory Board of SOCAR (State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan), the International Bank of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Railways CJSC.
Azerbaijani economist, Harvard alumni, holds a PhD in econometrics.
