Acting Director and Head of the Environment and Climate Change Department at the Indian Ocean Commission(IOC) with 21 years of experience in regional cooperation working mainly with island States in the fields of agriculture,coastal and marine, environment, climate change and disaster risk reduction. Focal person of IOC for the UN Multi Environmental Agreements, Sendai and UN SIDS frameworks, the Nairobi Convention and the African Island States Climate Commission. Served the Government of Seychelles for 12years as Director of Agricultural Planning, Assistant Director of the Plant Protection Sections and Head of the Plant Health Unit. Fluent in English and French.
