Hamat Bah
Hamat Ngai Kumba Bah is a seasoned Gambian politician currently serving as the Minister of Lands, Regional Government and Religious Affairs. He previously held the position of Minister of Tourism and Culture, where he contributed significantly to the promotion and development of The Gambia’s tourism and cultural sectors.
Mr. Bah has played an active role in the country’s political landscape for many years. He contested the presidential elections in 1996, 2001, and 2011, demonstrating his long-standing commitment to national leadership and public service. In addition, he served as the National Assembly Member (NAM) for Upper Saloum from 1997 to 2005, representing the interests of his constituents with dedication and professionalism.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bah has remained committed to governance, national development, and public service in The Gambia.
