Jennifer Molinsky is Director of the Housing an Aging Society Program at the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies, where she has worked since 2012. Trained as an urban planner, she leads an internationally recognized research program examining how housing, neighborhoods, and urban form can better support a rapidly growing older population. Her work explores housing affordability and accessibility; community livability and aging in place; the relationship between housing, services, and health; new housing typologies and intergenerational housing models; and homelessness among older adults. Dr. Molinsky is also a lecturer in the Harvard Graduate School of Design’s Department of Urban Planning and Design.
