Jonathan T.M. Reckford is the CEO of Habitat for Humanity International, a global Christian housing organization that has helped over 59 million people construct, rehabilitate, or preserve their homes. Since assuming leadership in 2005, he has overseen the growth of Habitat’s local organizations in all 50 U.S. states and more than 70 countries, expanding the impact from 125,000 individuals annually to over 13.4 million people last year. Reckford chairs Leadership 18, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council on the Future of Cities, and serves on the board of Barron Collier Companies. In 2017, The NonProfit Times named him the most influential nonprofit leader in America. He is also the author of Our Better Angels: Seven Simple Virtues That Will Change Your Life and the World.
