Jose Manuel Zuniga
Dr. Jose Manuel Zuniga is President/CEO of Fast-Track Health and a recognized public health leader who has spent more than three decades advancing responses to HIV, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and the health impacts of climate change. Since 2014, he has also guided an urban health initiative across more than 600 Fast-Track Cities, working at the intersection of urban health, health equity, and community engagement to strengthen systems and improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations. He has edited five public health-focused Oxford University Press volumes and serves on multiple global health advisory boards and expert panels. Over the course of his career, he has collaborated with governments, multilateral organizations, and community-based partners to shape national and global health strategies, and champion person-centered, whole-of-society approaches to health with an emphasis on the integration of science, policy, and lived experience.
