Kamelia Kemileva
Kamelia Kemileva is an international lawyer and multilateral diplomacy expert with extensive experience at the intersection of global governance, cities diplomacy, and the United Nations system. She currently serves as Co-Director of the Global Cities Hub in Geneva, where she advances the role of cities and subnational governments in international policymaking and multilateral cooperation.
With a career spanning international organizations, diplomacy, academia, and public administration, Kamelia has developed recognized expertise in multilateral negotiations, international public law, human rights mechanisms, and the governance of emerging urban challenges, including smart cities and digital transformation. She works closely with UN agencies, governments, city networks, and international partners to strengthen inclusive multilateralism and local-global cooperation.
