Lanisia Rhoden
Lanisia Rhoden is a Social Entrepreneur and Consultant with over 16 years’ experience in entrepreneurship and youth development. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Young Women/Men of Purpose (YWOP/YMOP), an award-winning NGO providing career mentorship and entrepreneurship training to youth and leads its social enterprises. Lanisia recently participated in the U.S. Department of State, International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) in Youth and Civic Engagement and is a Social Enterprise Fellow of The DO School, Germany. Her awards include the Commonwealth Youth Award, the Governor General's Achievement Award, and Global Innovator at Expo Live Dubai. She has an MSc in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship from the University of Manchester, UK as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar. Her published research, "The Capacity of NGOs to Become Sustainable by Creating Social Enterprises", underscores her commitment to helping others build and sustain impact-driven organizations.
