Laurinda Godjo is a young urban planner that has advocated for slums communities upgrading since 2018 while completing her Master degree in Urban planning and development management. She worked as program manager officer at Justice Empowerment Initiative (JEI) a non-governmental organization in Benin that was in partnership with SDI to improve the living conditions in slums communities in Cotonou.
She is currently working at the Mayor of the city of Bohicon office at project manager where she advocated for the implementation of the PSUP in the city of Bohicon. The PSUP has strated being implemented in Bohicon since 2021 thanks to Laurinda advocacy.
