Lenin Andres Zambrano Zambrano

Lenin Andrés Zambrano Zambrano is a young Kichwa Otavalo leader, lawyer by profession, and a prominent advocate committed to the defense of collective rights, justice, and the strengthening of Indigenous peoples and nationalities. He specializes in Criminal Law with a concentration in Procedural Law, as well as in Constitutional Law. In addition, he has received training in mediation and arbitration, directing his professional practice toward conflict resolution and the protection of fundamental rights and guarantees. He serves as a delegate of Indigenous peoples and nationalities in South America before UN-Habitat, contributing to the development of inclusive and sustainable policies grounded in an intercultural approach. He is also a member of the advisory council of the Youth Advisory Board (YAB), where he actively participates in international spaces for youth advocacy and policy engagement. At the community level, he serves as legal advisor to the Cabildo Kichwa Otavalo, strengthening Indigenous justice systems and the exercise of collective rights from a constitutional and intercultural perspective. Alongside his legal and institutional work, he is also a musician and martial arts instructor, integrating discipline, art, and cultural identity as fundamental pillars of his life.
