Marie-Josee Houle
Marie-Josee Houle’s career is distinguished by her dedication to the affordable housing and homelessness sector. A seasoned leader, she is recognized for her community activism, human rights expertise, and deep knowledge of housing systems. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Action-Logement, an Ottawa-based housing loss prevention organization. Her wide-ranging experience includes development consulting, project management for affordable housing projects, and advocacy for tenant rights across all levels of government. She has also worked closely with diverse partners to address human rights violations related to housing and homelessness. Ms. Houle is passionate about building strong communities and amplifying the voices of marginalized populations.
