With over 32 years of experience in housing policy, housing finance, corporate, and mortgage lending since graduating from the American University in Cairo in 1993, she holds professional diplomas in corporate banking, credit risk management, and international housing finance from American Express Bank New York and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
She currently serves as CEO of Egypt’s Social Housing & Mortgage Finance Fund (SHMFF), and previously held key positions including Vice President of the African Union for Housing Finance.
A certified mortgage trainer by the U.S. Mortgage Bankers Association, and Head of the advisory board to the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority "FRA" on mortgage lending.
She is also a board member of leading financial and real estate institutions (SAIB bank – City Edge)
In 2024, she was awarded the Arab Government Excellence Award as “Best Director General of an Arab Institution” for her leadership and contributions to social housing.
