Rehman Hassan
Rehman Hassan is a human rights and global health advocate, committed advancing global well-being. Working with UN Agencies and governments, Rehman focuses on gender equity, health, and human rights. Key achievements include co-leading the WHO’s Global Forum for Adolescents' Digital Experience, developing the "What Young People Want" chatbot, and consulting over 1.5 million youth and securing commitments across 100 countries.
Rehman is very active in the policy sphere, co-authoring President Biden’s AI in Global Development Playbook and promoting equity in COP, G7, and G20 declarations. Locally, Rehman has driven environmental justice initiatives, benefiting 2.5 million youth in urban areas.
A consultant or advisor to major bodies like WHO, OHCHR, UN Women, and the EU, Rehman has first-authored 24 consultative papers cited platforms like the UN Human Rights Council. Rehman has been recognized with the Diana Humanitarian Award and President Biden’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
