Renu Khosla

Dr. Renu Khosla is the Director of the Centre for Urban and Regional Excellence (CURE). She works on rethinking inclusive urban development through community-led, ecosystem-based approaches that promote resilience and integration. Her core strengths lie in participatory planning, community data spatialisation, and strengthening local governance for inclusive city solutions. She has designed and implemented innovative, citywide projects across multiple cities, integrating informal settlements into broader urban systems while partnering with governments to build capacity and leverage public resources. She received the UN-Habitat Dubai International Award (2022) for URBGOV, a GIS-based tool for pro-poor urban decision-making.
