Richard Burdett

Ricky Burdett is a Professor of Urban Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and Director of LSE Cities. He is a Trustee of the Norman Foster Foundation, and a member of the London Mayor’s Cultural Leadership Board. Burdett was formerly the Director of the Venice International Architecture Biennale and Chief Adviser on Architecture and Urbanism for the 2012 London Olympics. He is the co-editor of several books, including ‘Shaping Cities in an Urban Age’ (2018) and ‘The Endless City’ (2007).
