Shahira Amin

Shahira Amin is an independent journalist based in Cairo. A longtime contributor to CNN's Inside Africa, Amin is currently a Senior Fellow with the Atlantic Council and a Communication Consultant with the European Union Delegation to Egypt. Amin is also a member of Moderate the Panel, a mentor with the London-based Global Thinkers Forum and a BMW Foundation Responsible Leader. She is the recipient of several international awards including the American University in Cairo's Catalyst for Change Award and Spain's Julio Anguita Parrado Award for Courageous Journalism.
