Position: Head of Services of Lautoka City Council - lead and oversee operations of Health Department, Landfill, Market, Parks and Garden. • 26 Years’ Experience working in Local Government • Involved actively in preparation of Lautoka City Councils first ever Voluntary Local Review (VLR) Report in 2025 with assistance of UN Habitat and UNESCAP • Bachelor of Environmental Health Graduate of Fiji School of Medicine and USP – Gold Medalist 2004 • Co-Author of APN Science Bulletin, Vol. 13, “Developing Capacity for Post-typhoon disaster waste management in Lautoka, Fiji and Makati, Philippines”, 2023. • Represented Fiji at Inter-regional SDG Localization Workshop held at Amman, Jordan in November 2025 • Represented Council at Pacific Urban Forum in PNG from 24th to 26th March 2026 • Co - Author of “The Pacific Solid Waste Management Guidebook” published in 2018 with support of SPREP/JICA • Chair of Pacific Regional Disaster Waste Management Technical Working Group- 2018 (appointed during 2nd Clean Pacific Round Table Meeting held in Suva in 2018) • Local Regional Expert and Trainer- Solid Waste Management (Landfill Management, 3R Promotion, Solid Waste Management Planning)
