Temitope Sogbanmu

  Temitope O. Sogbanmu is an Environmental Toxicologist with extensive experience in the risk assessment and management of organic pollutants across various matrices, providing targeted environmental management advice. She is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Lagos, where she leads projects such as the Evidence Use in Environmental Policymaking in Nigeria (EUEPiN) and the Environmental Evidence Portal for Nigeria (EEPoN). Currently, she is a Fellow of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Climate Research Cohort (2023-2024), collaborating on water security and climate change solutions in an urban slum in Lagos. Dr. Sogbanmu advocates for the UN SDGs 6, 11, 13, and 14, the African Union's Agenda 2063 Goal 7, evidence-based policymaking, researcher visibility for societal impact, and science and risk communication.
