Zeina Elzein

Zeina ElZein is an Assistant Professor of Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design at Helwan University, with a PhD in Integrated Urban Water Management, and expertise in the Urban Water, Energy and Food Nexus. She is an established Editor and Consultant. She is currently assigned as member of the UN-Habitat Youth Advisory Board and the World Urban Forum 12 Advisory Group.
Zeina is a previous visiting researcher at the Humboldt University in Berlin and Fulbright Alumna at the University of Texas in Austin, Renewable Energy cohort. She led sustainable development projects in her Country. She co-established an unergradute program on Sustainable Architecture and Urban Design that links different SDGs with the built environment. She has also consulted on water management and urban greening projects and has served as an editor, jury member, and reviewer for international journals, funds, and conferences.
