Objective
• Advocate for the New Urban Agenda (NUA) and its 2026 reporting cycle
• Reflect on overall implementation, monitoring and reporting, through sharing lessons learned, best practices and opportunities
• Emphasis on collective efforts on NUA implementation and monitoring
• Recognise Member States who pledged to prepare reports for the 2026 monitoring cycle for the New Urban Agenda
Target audience
• National and local government representatives
• Representatives from regional bodies
• Participants who are willing to join the NUA network, push their government to submit the National Progress Report (NPR)
Output
• Participants gain a deeper understanding of New Urban Agenda (NUA) and its 2026 reporting cycle
• Increased interest in joining collective efforts on NUA implementation and monitoring
• Participants advocate for their governments to submit NPRs for the NUA
