Curious about WUF13? Join our global information sessions
Not sure what to expect at WUF13? Have questions about the United Nations’ largest global platform on sustainable urbanization? We’re hosting a series of online global information sessions to help you understand what the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) is all about — and how you can take part.
WUF13 will take place from 17 to 22 May 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan, under the theme “Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities”. Whether you’re a city official, practitioner, researcher, civil society actor, business partner or simply interested in urban issues, these sessions are designed for you.
What we’ll cover
During the sessions, we’ll walk you through:
- What WUF13 is, when and where it takes place
- How the Forum is structured, from main sessions to partner-led events
- What you can showcase at WUF13, including solutions, ideas and initiatives
- How to get involved, as an event organizer, Urban Expo exhibitor or participant
- Where to find updates and key deadlines
We’ll also set aside time to answer your questions and clarify how different stakeholders can engage with the Forum.
