Final call to host a partner-led event at WUF13

With less than one week remaining, organizations and institutions around the world are invited to submit their applications to host partner-led events at the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13). The application deadline is 29 January 2026.

Under the theme “Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities”, the Forum will bring together thousands of participants to share solutions and shape the future of housing and cities.

A platform by partners, for partners

Partner-led events sit at the heart of the World Urban Forum. They provide a unique opportunity for governments, cities, civil society, academia, the private sector and other stakeholders to showcase ideas, exchange experiences, launch initiatives and build partnerships.

For WUF13, partners may apply to host events under seven categories: Networking events, One UN, SDGs in Action, Urban Cinema, Urban Library, Voices from Cities, WUF Academy.

Partners may submit more than one application, provided each is under a different event category.

Partner-led events serve as a core space for dialogue, exchange and collaboration. Partner-led events serve as a core space for dialogue, exchange and collaboration.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted through the UN-Habitat Global Event Management System (GEMS) using a personal registration dashboard. Applicants must be registered to participate in WUF13 before submitting an event proposal. Registration and participation in WUF13 are free of charge.

Partner-led events will form a core part of the WUF13 programme, contributing directly to dialogue, knowledge exchange and the outcomes of the Forum.
