Urban Library

Information is power – it’s the currency of change and transformation. That’s why WUF13 is revamping the approach to the popular Urban Library. Whether it’s a new publication, a book, or published research report, the Urban Library seeks to provide a curated experience for WUF13 participants to dive deeper into the latest information produced by a range of partners.

An Urban Library event offers both, the presentation of the evidence and an opportunity for debate and discussion. They are typically facilitated by the organization that has produced the evidence and can attract media interest if they are promoted ahead of time.

  • Focus: launching of state-of-the-art knowledge products that have the potential to contribute to realizing sustainable urban development and steering international policy development.
  • Duration: 60 minutes.
  • Online participation (this info shall be updated in the coming months).
  • Capacity: approx. 50 participants.
